Bengisu Önder was born in 1995, Ankara. She has started her piano studies at the age of five with pianist-composer Mehmet Okonşar and her father, composer Burhan Önder. In 2005 she participated to Pera Piano Festival in Istanbul. In 2006 she won the entrance examination of Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory and started to study piano with Yeşim Alkaya Yener. In summer 2011 she joined to masterclass of Tomasso Cogato in Polignano, Italy. Additionally, in summers 2013 and 2014, she joined to masterclasses in Vienna, given by Klaus Sticken. Since 2011, she has been continuing her piano studies at the same conservatory with Oya Ünler Bayka.
