Born in Ankara in 1986. In 1995 his musical education has been started at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Music Department as a part-time student. After this education, in 1997 he attended to Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Percussion Department. First started his education under the direction of Bora Atsay and then graduated from University in 2007 with success. In the same year he won the audition and take his place at Presidential Symphony Orchestra.

Between the years 2008-2013, he started to work at Ankara Fine Arts High School as an instructor and had many succesfull students. He performed in many local and international concerts as a soloist and orchestra member.

Can kıyıcı is currently a Presidential Symphony Orchestra member.
