| Elif 
		Akar was born in   During the 2006-2007 season, she participated in 
		Pamela Mia Paul's master class at Hacettepe University Ankara State 
		Conservatory, and to Oxana Yablonskaya's master class. Had been accepted 
		as an active student to Gülsin Onay's master class in March 2007. Since 
		2005 she has been a member of Hacettepe University Symphony Orchestra 
		and performed at various concerts. After graduating from Hacettepe 
		University Ankara State Conservatory as a valedictorian, (highest rank 
		in the graduating class of the piano department) as a student of Asst. 
		Prof. Menekşe Akar (2007-2008). In July 2007, she participated to "Academie de 
		Musique Yves Nat" Festival in Serignan, where she worked with Oxana 
		Yablonskaya and was elected "Concert des éléves" and performed a 
		concert.  After winning the third prize at the "Concours Yves Nat 
		Catégorie Senior", that she was awarded to perform at New York Steinway 
		Hall in April 2008.  She performed "F. Poulenc Second Piano Concerto" 
		accompanied by Hacettepe University Symphony Orchestra as a soloist and 
		worked at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Bilkent University 
		as a university lecturer. (2008-2009). She has been accepted to Moskow 
		P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory as a postgraduate student in April 2010. 
		During 2007-2008 she has worked as a lecturer at Hacettepe University 
		Ankara State Conservatory and worked at TRT (Turkish Radio and 
		Television) Polyphonic Chorus and recorded a CD in 2009-2010.  In 2011-2012 she continued her master degree in 
		Roma Santa Cecilia Conservatory with Marylene Mouquet. In 2013 she 
		finished her master degree in Hacettepe University Ankara State 
		Conservatory with Assistant Prof. Menekse Akar. In April 2014, She 
		performed "Saint-Seans, Le Carnaval des Animaux" accompanied by 
		Hacettepe University Symphony Orchestra as a soloist. She is currently continuing her doctorate program 
		at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory with Assistant Prof. 
		Oya Ünler and performing various concerts as a soloist, accompanist and 
		orchestra pianist in turkey as well as internationally.
