| Prof. Dr. Feza Tansuğ is Professor of 
		Anthropology and Music in Ankara and he is one of the leading culture 
		and music experts of Turkey. He is the author of several books and 
		dozens of scholarly articles on various traditions of Turkish and 
		Central Asian musics. He is the author of Novyi vzgliad na muzyku 
		tiurkskikh narodov Evrazii (New Perspectives on Turkic Music of 
		Eurasia). For many years, he has taught in Department of Anthropology at 
		Yeditepe University in Istanbul, acting as the department chair between 
		2010-2012. He has gained a worldwide reputation for his discovery of a 
		Turkish hymn that inspired the famous composer, Ludwig van Beethoven. Prof. Dr. Feza Tansuğ is the director of  the 
		Ipek University, School of Music and Dean of the Faculty of Art and 
		Design.
