Ildýko Moog, Hungary
She was born in Hungary.
Started her musical career and violin studies in Zoltan Kodaly Music
School when she was six. Completed her higher education in “Bela Bartok
Conservatory”, Budapest. After graduation she started to play in
Budapest Symphony Orchestra. In the “Wayner Leo
Competition” and “Belgrade Violin Competition” she took the first prize.
At the same time she won the third prize in “ARD Violin Competition”
which is one of the most prestigious competitions in the world. In 1972 she left Hungary and
went Germany to attend the masterclass of Prof. Tibor Varga and after
this started to study with Varga as a scholarship student. In 1975
graduated on highest degree. After her graduation she gave many concerts
as a soloist with many German Orchestras and Bell’Arte Quartet. At Tibor
Varga’s Masterclasses which was has taken place in Switzerland, Sion.
She worked in Freiburg Philarmony Orchestra as konzertmeister and was a
professor in Freiburg Academy. After her retirement, she moved to
Turkey, Samsun State Opera and Ballet and appointed as konzertmeister
again. Professor Moog responded the invitation of Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory and now doing her lectures at there. She also gives many concerts with “Camerata Ankara” which is a chamber group she proceeded to establish. |
