Jolan
Jaroka Arıbal was born in 1964 in Budapest, Hungary. She took her first piano
lessons from his mother and continued her piano education with Associate
Prof. Zelinka TIBORNE in Béla BARTÓK School of Music at the age of 9. She gave her
first recital at the Young Music Lovers' Association when she was 10
years old. This recital had so broad repercussion that she had received
a program offer from Hungarian Television and introduced as a child
prodigy. Thanks to
her outstanding success, she completed her high school education at the
age of 12. Due to her little age, special permissions had been taken
from the Government of Hungary to enter the examinations of Franz Liszt
Academy of Music, where she continued her education with Prof. George
NADOR as a student with special status. Being a very
successful student in the academy, she represented her country by
performing many concerts and recitals in abroad (Germany, Austria ,
Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia). In addition
to television and radio programs , she participated in many competitions
and won awards including the international competition "Virtuozi per
Musica di Pianoforte" held in Czechoslovakia in 1977 and "Béla BARTÓK"
competition held in Budapest in 1978. In 1984,
upon the request from Franz Liszt Academy of Music, she became the
accompanist of Prof. Vilmos TATRAI violin class. In 1984,
upon the request from Hacettepe University State Conservatory , she came
to Turkey and started working as a lecturer.
Jolanka JAROKA participated in television and radio programs
and
gave recitals and concerts in many places across the country including
Ankara State Conservatory, Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Cemal Resit
Rey and Resim Heykel Museum Operetta Stage Concert Halls. She
performed a composition which was dedicated to her by the Turkish
composer Ertuğrul Oğuz Fırat on the radio. This record was later
published in the Hungarian State Radio. Currently Jolanka JAROKA works as a lecturer in Hacettepe University State Conservatory, and continues to perform concerts and recitals. |
