Kitty Balkanyi, Hungary
After
graduating from the Hungarian Dance Academy she started her professional
dance carrier at the Szeged Contemporary Ballet. During the next few
years she worked with such highly appreciated hungarian companies like
the Yvette Bozsik Company and the Budapest Dance Theatre. Took part in
Zoltán Fodor’s earliest projects, Unknown and Cut Short. She received
the Viktor Fülöp scholarship two times and in 2009 as a recognition of
her work she was awarded the „Best female dancer of the season”. She
joined Inversedance at its foundation, in 2010. Since then she attended
several workshops organized by the Company, took part in all the
premiers, danced the main role of Initiation, Subconscious and Esther
and holds the position of assistant and assistant choreographer.
