Şafak Ceyhan was born in Hatay in 1988. She started first music lessons at 7 years old. She has accepted Cukurova University Adana State Conservatory in 2001 and studied  flute lessons with Figen AKGÜN.  In 2002, she has been succeed in solfej and flute entrance examination and  accepted Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory.  In 2009, she was accepted in Detmold Music Hochschule as an Erasmus student and studied with Prof. Hans-Jörg WEGNER.

In 2012 she finished Bachelor’s degree (Aycan Sancar’s flute class) and in 2014 Master degree(Gülsen Şatana’s flute class). As a student she studied with Elvan Alpagut Uluçınar,Simay Civelek, Sedat Civelek, Erol Erdinç, Burak Tüzün and Rengim Gökmen.

Ceyhan has played a lot of chamber music concerts and recitals. Currently she is a research assistant in the university and guest artist in Hacettepe Symphony Orchestra. She is also student Proficiency in Art Program and she is studying with Gülsen ŞATANA.
