| Dr. János Sipos is a Senior researcher of the 
		Institute for Musicology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Member of 
		the Hungarian Academy of Arts, Hungarian Representative of the 
		International Council for Traditional Music and as well as a lecturer of 
		the Franz Liszt Music Academy.  From 1987 he has been spending some 100 months, 
		in areas inhabited by different Turkish people and collected more then 
		10.000 songs in Anatolia (1987-2012 many times), Thrace (1999-2003), 
		Kazakhstan (1995, 1997), Azerbaijan (1999, 2004, 2005), Kyrgyzstan 
		(2002, 2004), Turkmenistan (2011), Karachays in the Caucasus (2000), 
		Karachays in Turkey (2001, 2002, 2005) and American Indians (2004-2005). 
		Based on his field work he published 16 books, (7 in English, 6 
		in Hungarian, 1 in Turkish and 1 in Azeri language). Between the years of 1994-1997, he has 
		accomplished his  Ph.D. from Linguistics-Ethnomusicology  at A. József 
		University ,Szeged. His dissertation title is: Béla Bartók’s Anatolian 
		Research in the Light of a Larger Material In 1978, he had his degree 
		B.Sc. in Mathematics.  Title of thesis: Computer aided Analysis on 
		FolkMusic Rhythms, A. József University, Szeged.  From 1998  to 2001,he has worked as a research 
		fellow  in Oriental Archives of the House of Traditions, Budapest. His teaching activities are as follows:  ( 
		1993-1997) Teaching Assistant, Dept. of Altaic Studies, Szeged JATE 
		University, (1988–1993)Lecturer, Dept. of Hungarology, Ankara 
		University, Turkey Lecturer at the Folk Music Department of the Franz 
		List Music Academy, Budapest (from2007 onwards). His has  some 
		memberships of  Scientific Societies such as: Hungarian representative 
		of the International Council of Traditional Music International Council 
		of Traditional Music, Music of Turkic Speaking People Study Group, 
		founding member European Seminar in Ethnomusicology,
